Road my bike to the track, did some short hard running and road back home. The hard running part was 2 x half mile at about 5K pace. 1 mile warm up, half lap (200) rest and half mile cool down. My splits were 3:03 and 3:16. My goal was 3:07 and I wanted to do 3 intervals instead of 2. I don't know if it was the near 100 degree heat or fitness level that made me quit after two? |
