5 miles 48:05 9:37 ave behind the Capitol. Wore the shoes I'm going to wear for the marathon. Sure felt nice to put on my old friends. These shoes are pretty much out of life, this might be their last race.

I really like those Saucony A2s. That's what I'll be racing in too. Bummer they don't make them any more but I guess that's what happens after you find A shoe you really like. Happy tapering.

Now I know how to spot you in the Athletes Village. I think a lot of people feel the same way about the A2, I often see them on runners at just about any race. I'll probably check out the Type A4 as a replacement. I hope they are similar.
