The Shape Women's Half Marathon is two plus loops in Central Park. Since it is a women's only event, I got to start at the very front of the pack - right behind Deena Kastor who won in 1:16:xx. I was disappointed in my time because it was about 30 secons slower than my January half on basically the same course. On the other hand, I haven't been running that much so cannot reasonably expect to be getting faster!
