This race was what I had been training for, and things were going great until school got nuts for a while. But I ran it anyway and mannnn did it hurt. They couldn't have found another hill in Farmville of they tried. I ran it in 21:21 but I highly doubt the course was accurate. I am thinking it may have been short but I have no way to tell. It was very unorganized and we (me and a 10 year old who were leading the race) had to work together to figure out where to go. I ended up getting 2nd overall... which is actually disappointing because it goes to show the running scene in Farmville is no bigger than I thought. I did meet a couple colleagues there who run occasionally, and I am hoping to get them to run more often so I can have some running partners. |
