2x6 min surges. About a month from duathlon day with my brother (I run 2 miles, he bikes, I run 4 miles). I won't have great speed or endurance by then, so I am really working on building mental toughness. The second surge almost made me puke- I guess I pushed myself hard enough! When I finished my knee was immediately tender- definitely swollen and a little stiff. I'll know more in the morning. Hopefully swelling will work its way down, not up. I'll do a little ice tonight. No Clarky- he is only walking til his leg heals.
