On to the running:

First full tempo workout in a while!! 1x1600, 8x400. Slow due to the heat, but finished is finished! It's always worth it to see the friendly faces :)

Thursday night I do a tempo in the Florida heat to earn your votes! 

Tempo in maaaajor Florida heat. Didn't quite get a 5k done, instead 2.5 miles. And I am proud of those 2.5.

I didn't enjoy tonight's run :( I think there is going to be a full moon tonight and it brought out all the creepies. Lots of weirdies honking horns (turning directions just to honk again) and even spitting at me, a backyard fire, and a dead body (I didn't see it though). All of that in 1.5 miles. I ran scared the whole time. I hate it when that happens. C'est la vie.

This whole contest has been an amazing (but tiring) experience. The support people have given us has been humbling and brought me to tears several times. We're just asking for four more days.  Please and thank you! 

Another short run so I can go long tomorrow. This is my first time running every day in one week since my sophomore year of college. And I just finished my 9th year of college, so it's been a while!!

Went out the same way I did yesterday and within 3 minutes someone had made a crude comment. People are crazy lately, but I guess I need to stop letting it get to me. Or start running in the morning again when the crazies are still in bed.

P.S. There was still a heat index of over 100 while I was running, and tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter. Ew!
