Would have run a little further but my friend Olivia's foot was hurting her. No reason to risk it!
Hopefully I will be able to continue running through all the travel for my job interviews the next two weeks. (Wisconsin this week and Arizona next!)

Good luck with the job search; I feel your pain...

Are you searching right now too? Of course we go to school forever to come out in this hole of a job market. Oh well, what is mean to be will find a way... once the economy fixes itself. Until then I will most likely take a teaching job. I hope to go there and not miss research. Only time will tell.
I'd like to sponsor your upcoming run. Hmm maybe 15 cents a mile. Do I have to commit anywhere?

I'm sending out feelers at the moment. I'm sure you'll find something soon (and, I must say, being a hurricane researcher, AZ and WI are some interesting locales for you...)
Thanks for the sponsorship... I've got you down, and I sent you a PM a little while ago...
Also, on a side note, I noticed the results from this year's running of the Rush to Brush 5k, and I saw that your winning time from last year would have destroyed the winning time this year (22:15), whereas my winning time from two years ago would have lost by 14 seconds this year. Just thought you'd appreciate the fact that I think you own the course record over there...
