I am so pleased with this race, especially after I felt so bad Thursday! It's a mile PR for me.  I was never a good mile runner, but now I am starting to enjoy the distance.

Quarter splits (slightly more than a 400 each):

1:22, 1:22, 1:23, 1:20

I felt great and probably should had a little bit too much left, but I didn't expect to be able to go that fast. Too bad it will be another year before I get to try again!

I also ate one blueberry pancake for each mile I ran :)

Great job on the PR. Time to update. And great pancake to mile ratio.

You are getting blazing fast! Wow! I bet you could get under a five minute mile with the right training! Amazing!

Barry- First place female was 5:04 (17 years old) and second was 5:09 (14 years old). They are so talented! Fastest guy was around 4:40.
