| 4PM- Did a nice and easy run out to the institute and back. I have been running off and on so I haven't jumped above 3 miles easy for a while. It's hard by yourself. Makes me want to give mad props to all you dedicated single runners! But I haven't had a set goal so that kind of plays into it. Honestly I am a little scared to do hard workouts by myself. I think it will teach me a lot about how to motivate myself though. I felt good. I think I am going to really work on seeing the positive as I start to make goals and get serious with training. I know I have said that before but I learned a lot about being mentally tough while I was in Canada (pushing through knocking doors while it was -20*C was definitely hard) and I have mellowed out a bit in terms of being hard on myself. Anyways, good to back to the blogging world of running!:-)

| 2 PM: Went for a run while down in St. George. Watched the Kona Ironman Championships. Motivated me to actually go out and run. Was a good first 2 miles but then I had eaten too close to when I ran so I was feeling that the last mile. Thinking about doing the dogtown half marathon. Need to get more consistent though for sure.

| 7 AM--Went for an easy 3 miles just to start getting in shape again. Need new shoes most likely. I felt good though.

| 8 AM-- Went for a nice 4 mile run. It was going well. A bit cold for not bringing gloves for a run in Cedar. I went about 7:30/mile pace but then my arch was strained for half of a mile and so I ran slow and even had to stop for 30 seconds to stretch it. I don't know why it was acting up so much. It might have to do with my shoes as they are a bit beat up. Anyways, another day down!

| 8 AM-- Went for a five mile run out to Walmart in Cedar City and back. My calf was a bit tight starting and by the end my legs were dead. It was a good start though. Just need to take care of my legs in between runs a bit more.

| 10 AM-- Went out to the double churches in St. George this morning. I stretched and rolled out my legs before. The bottom of the balls of my rights foot hurt a bit. It was a good run though. Nice and easy.

| Missed yesterday without realizing it. Went for an easy run out to the double churches in washington fields. It was a nice run. I need to take care of my legs after runs. So far so good!

| Nice run out to my cousin's neighborhood and back. I'm liking the new shoes(Adidas Boost). Decided to only run 2 and slowly work up my mileage as running 4-5 the other week started putting too much stress on my foot and it hurt. It feels fine this week but I want to slowly get my feet and body use to the mileage.

| Went three miles out toward Timmy Lunt's house and back. It was a solid run. Hit a 6:41/mile average. I got a new watch for Christmas (Garmin 250). I really like it. I felt good today. Perfectly cool temperature.
