Did a 200 competition sort of thing for practice this afternoon. Everybody had a certain time they were supposed to hit and we did as many as we could at that time. If you walked or didn't hit your time, then you were done. Me, Brigham, and Jaren were supposed to hit 29. When we started, I barely snuck under 29 and I new it was going to be a tough workout. I got used to the pace and I was feeling pretty good for the first 10 or so, then it started to get pretty tough. When I got to 25, I had been barely hanging on for the last few. On the 26th one I finished and looked down at my watch and it said 30.2. Dang it! It was a killer workout but it was a good push and a pretty fun one. With a 2 mile warm up and 1 mile cool down it was a 9.5 mile workout. |
