9.5 this morning for our workout. We drove out to the Staheli Farms area to do our 40 minute tempo run. We did a 2 mile warm up then started into our tempo. Josh, Ben, and I were supposed to start out at 6:15ish and ease into about a 5:50-6:00 pace. Our first few miles were about 5 seconds slow, but after the third mile we ran under 6:00 pace for the rest of the run. We got a total of 6.5 miles in 40 minutes for the tempo run. After that we cooled down about a mile. For the most part of this run I felt great. My calves were only really tight on the cool down, especially my right one. But there is no afternoon practice today and we are supposed to take it really easy tomorrow, so I think they will be fine for next week. We've had some big workouts this week and I think we've done really well as a team.
