3 miles in the morning to the bridge. .5 miles plus 7 miles (1.5 mile warm up, 6x500m hill repeats w/equal cool down, 4x200m finishes on track w/equal cool down, .25 mile cool down) in the afternoon. Pretty toasty this afternoon! I was lucky that I hydrated pretty well during school or I definitely wouldn't have done as well as I did today. This was a really tough workout but I was glad to have good teammates who kept pushing me and reminding me to stay focused and be positive, which was really important because of how hot it was today. My legs were toast after the workout but we had an ice bath today so that was awesome. Hoping to keep rocking out these big boy workouts. |
