| A.M. 7 Miles in 7:47 min pace P.M. 3 Miles in 8 min pace I didn't sleep too well last night, and was not very excited to do my morning run. I finally get myself out the door, and great, strong winds.. my favorite. I tried to look on the postitive side and thought about how it was at least warmer than it has been. I started trudging along, into the wind, going up hill. Needless to say my first couple miles were very slow. Once I got into a groove though I felt good! Ended up dropping by about 5-10 seconds every mile and finished my last mile in 6:50. Felt good! Then this afternoon I was at my little brother's baseball practice. Didn't really intend to run, but it was FREEZING and I was still in my running stuff, so I decided to trot around a little. Felt way slow and was still really windy, but it warmed me up. After the run I shagged some balls for my bro and even stepped up to the plate a couple times. It's a good thing I run ;) |

| Tuesday Speed Day! Ran with my team as follows: Jogged to the track (1.5 miles) 4x200 (39 secs) 3x1k's (3:38, 3:40, 3:36) (5-10k pace) 4x400 (78, 76, 78, 71) Cool Down (1.5 miles) Felt pretty good! My legs felt super heavy for the last 400's though. Definitely felt the 10 miles from yesterday :) |

| I forgot to start my watch for about 10 mins during my run! So it kinda threw off the pace and what not. 8.5 miles in about 7:49 pace is my guessitmate :) it was a BEAUTIFUL morning. Body felt tired from the workout and my circut training class, but other than that, great run! Did TONS of wedding stuff too. only 5 more weeks! FIVE MORE WEEKS! I'm kinda excited ;) |

| I woke up, and my body ached. I was on my feet ALL day yesterday. all day. I worked 2 jobs, did lots of wedding shopping, and the run. It wore me out. My plantar decided to come back too. So my run today was shortish and SLOW( 6mi in 8min/mile). Ended the run at a park that has a little stream through it. The cold water and smooth rocks on the bottom felt great on my feet. Icing and massage in one, perfect :) Another great day too! Definitely skanked it up and ran in my sports bra. So nice! |

| 9 miles in 7:49 pace.
My legs and foot felt brand new today! good ol' recovery runs! I went and got reacquainted with my old summer running town, Alpine, UT. I was going to run to the Bowery...I must be getting old, I couldn't remember how to get there and got lost. I wound up trotting through neighborhoods, had no idea where I was, then somehow ended up right where I wanted to be! Gotta love that :) I also forgot how many hills there are! sheesh, the first 5 miles seemed to be all up hill, good thing about that though, I cruised on back! I was under 7 min/mile for the last 2 miles. Felt so good! Great Run!
Tonight I am determined to get some core/strength work in. I have neglected that this week, and I know that it is crucial!
Off to my little sister's track meet, she's ready to PR in the mile. Wish her luck! :) |

| As I walked out the door this morning, I turned on my garmin and it beeped low battery. DANG. I guess I didn't push it into the charger well enough so it didn't charge. I left it at home and went on a course that usually takes me about 85-90 mins. So i'm guessing I went anywhere from 11 to 12 miles! It was a BEAUTIFUL morning. gotta love the spring! :) |
