I was so nervous about the pain in my leg that I decided to run on the treadmill instead of with the group in case I had to quit. It seemed to be okay. I put a board under the back of the treadmill so I could alter the elevation up and down.
1 mile warm up and 1 mile cool down flat at 9:40
8 miles average pace 8:40 (adjusting incline and decline each mile)
