Running Accomplishments:

I've been running since junior high. Ran middle distance in college with a PB of 1:52 for the 800 meters, then continued running with varying degrees of seriousness throughout my 20's and 30's. Moved up in distance and even ran three marathons (2:43 PB). Now just trying to stay in shape and find balance in life in my 40's.

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Work out 30 minutes a day, six days a week

 

 

 

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy and consistent.

Married with 3 children. Work as a school counselor.

Treadmill  at Gold's- 38:02

First run in 9 days. The last 4+ months have been my worst running phase of my life. Today I signed up for the Seattle Rock n Roll half marathon in June (I will be in Seattle for a conference anyway) so maybe I'll start training again.

Today's run was slow, with 6 x 30 sec. pickups at about 6:00/mile.

Only a short time to run today, so I opted for "something is better than nothing." Slow pace again with 2 x 45 sec pickups and 1 x 1:30 pickup.

Did a pseudo-workout today: 5-4-3-2-1-1 min pickups with 2 min recoveries. Pace was pretty easy so it wasn't that rough.
