Lunch run - Segment tester, + 2x1mi. AT (?) - according to weather app., some sort of riduclous air quality thing going on today that I definitely felt (?) trying to run any amount of up tempo. Segment hunting time again - Carr Hill East is a 0.65 mile up hill segment with a pretty decent CR to chase. Tested that out first and managed something about 1:00 too slow :). Okay - so I have some work to do... recovery jog after Segment test, and then tried a 1 mile repeat type workout. Fail - anything under 7 minute pace and I am gasping for air. pulled the plug after 2 at 6:48, and 6:55. Crazy and discouraging - need some recovery time to let the volume sink in. 10 mi. total - 82:32
