Ran on the treadmill in Alaska.  Most of you know how I feel about the treadmill and the start of today's run was more of the same.  The first treadmill I was on did not show the distance, just calories and time and after 5 min of trying to run and fiddle with it, I gave up and moved to the other.  This one showed the distance but my ipod dropped and needed to be reset, so a few more minutes of running and trying to fix things.  I finally got going and did some hill repeats with equal recovery but picked up the pace in between sets.  It ended up being a really good run, especially since the alternative was running when it is -30.

Wow Jody, you sure get around! Does this mean you won't be with the BBK's tomorrow?

I did some treadmill running just off the coast of Alaska once.

No BBK run tomorrow. I will be back on Thursday. Hopefully you saw Alaska when it wasn't 30 below.

Hope you're enjoying Alaska..

Funny iPod vs. treadmill story of my own. When I was training for the marathon 2 years ago, I was doing a lot of indoor 90 minute runs on the treadmill in the basement. Well I was jamming out to I think Men at Work .. and I'm singing "WHO CAN IT BEEE NOW".. and my arm hits the ipod cord and the ipod goes flying and bounces off the back of the treadmill so I finish the run and then go to retrieve it afterwards and it was paused.. I plugged it in and finished the song haha.

30 below? CRAZY! I do not even think I would step a foot outside!

Have FUN and we will see you soon.
