Met the BBK's for our Thursday workout.  I felt better then yesterday and made it over 1.5 miles completely pain free - that is .5 farther than yesterday.  The rest of the time there was some pain but not to the point that I could not run - This is a good sign and I hope it continues.  All my miles were easy, I did pick up the pace as the run progressed but still easy miles.  Overall I am pleased.  Two things that I have changes this week, along with my weekly massage sessions, are:

1.  Foam Roller - $18.99 from Target is a bargin.  Using it nightly - nice and slow over my areas of issues but it is helping keep things loose.

2.  I have been more consitent and better about getting some protien in me after my runs.  I had developed a bad habit of not eating until 1 - 1.5 hrs after I was done and running out the door to work.

Okay...I must be completely out of it. Is it still your ITB thats bugging you? I'm going to a PT for mine (Ogden...mile 10!!) and it seems so far to REALLY be helping. I'm so sorry that it keeps coming back, I can completely sympathize! I think ITBS is one of the worst injuries ever, hopefully the massage and rollers help. I'm glad you're keeping at it and working through it, you're an AWESOME runner!!
