Physically, an improvement from yesterday, but I still stopped and walked home after a mile of running. Mentally, I'm back to basket-case mode. Too much indecision - do I really feel better? am I better off just doing nothing? is racing next weekend a terrible idea? can/should I just push through this? I don't really have a plan now... as this wasn't exactly the situation I thought I'd be facing a week out from Chicago.

At least there's a new puppy in town to distract me from thinking about it too much.

he is so cute i can't handle it. i keep opening pictures and screaming.

really sorry about your hamstring. i think basket-case mode is justified. get on those crafts! it helps with so many things. pumpkin painting and moose chalk art are both in season.

good luck. hopefully with some rest and extra care it will be good to go next weekend and you can go out and race hard.

Crappy decisions to have to make, sorry to hear this. Maybe in a couple days, all is well and you can enjoy the race with no loss to fitness.

Sorry about the hamstring. Sounds very frustrating. Two weeks ago I started feeling a twinge in my hamstring so I saw Tim and while very painful, he worked his magic and I havent really felt it since. Just an idea.

Cute puppy!
