Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in  2025.

No racing, retired.

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

Slept in and skipped a morning run  (too cold too!).  After church family went to the gym and I lifted (focused on heavier leg rehab stuff).  I went out after we got home to just enjoy the nice weather.

Hammy/glute really sore later tonight.

Stretched and foamed rolled this morning, hammy/glute were sore and head cold is holding on.

7.25 miles at lunch. Easy mile wu, then 5 miles at 7:30.  1.25 mile cooldown.  Form is coming back, piriformis and hammy a bit sore but felt the best I have in my form in months.  (Ride 3 2013)

3 miles after work with Moxie through the neighborhood on a nice afternoon.  (Boost)

Cold, snowy, windy...just nasty out.  Plus head cold won't let go, so I stretched and did rehab exercises this morning.  Too cold and windy outside and my head feels like it is going to explode. taking the whole day off.

Slept in.  Stretched and foam rolled.

6.4 miles at lunch with DanS on the greenbelt.  Nice day, good company.  Slower going out, good pace coming back (between 7:00-7:30ish).  (Ride 3 2013)

5:15am...5 easy miles with Moxie on a nice morning.  Helped get kids ready and off to school, then stretched with Kami and am going back out for a long run with DanS in the sunshine.  

16 miles with Dan S on the greenbelt on a very nice morning.  Felt really good to 10 miles, ok to 13 then the last 3 miles were tough.  (Ride 3 2015)

5 mile walk at Community Park with Kami just enjoying the weather and each others company in great conversation!  (Boost)

Woke up early but decided to wait a bit to have the temps warm up and run in shorts.  I took Justin to track practice so he could run with the boys (not interested in me running with them) so I ran 10.5 miles solo through the neighborhoods around the HS and out to Hitt Road and back...just meandering.  One pit stop and just easy recovery pace.  I need to start pushing pace soon...tired of seeing the slow pace on my watch.  Great morning for a run.  (Mirage 3)
