"Engaging in a little suffering — however self-imposed, arbitrary and contrived — before breakfast each morning tends to demand some humility and injects some marked relief into the rest of the day, making things sharper, more inspired, more immediately aware of the powerful presence of being. And that seems really worthwhile." A. Krupicka

"I cruised down hills, churned up hills, and floated over the asphalt, existing in a world that seemed to lack the confinements of such ubiquitous rivets as time, obligation, or pain. I knew then that this was destined to be one of those serendipitous runs for which so many of
us strive yet so rarely achieve." J. Nevels

3 miles / LPT. sun and cold. something just isn't right these last few days - i have lows now and then, but this week seems even lower than the regular lows. kind of a sub-low low. nothing in my diet has changed, my mileage is about where it always is...i'm sleeping like i usually do...hmmm. not going to stress about it, just hope it passes soon. today's run really sucked though. 10:18 avg.

Bummer...lows are the worst. Hope you can get out of it soon!

It is called PMS. ;o) Hopefully tomorrow is GOOD. It would be even better if it were maybe 20 degrees warmer, even for just 30 minutes!

sorry JD. that's not fun. i agree with kelli -- the cold isn't helping any of us. neither are the short days.

hopefully tomorrow will be better!

thanks - you all are so nice! i didn't mean to come off sounding like i was complaining. mostly i just want to document these "cycles" for reference. thank you for sympathizing with me - it's helpful!

Kelli, I agree with you. He must have the PMS.

From Kelli on Tue, Dec 06, 2011 at 23:28:47 from 71.219.83.156

He did say he was documenting his cycles!

I think we all have them (PMS or not). Winter is just the time of BLAH!
