PM: 12 miles. Moderate progression with strong finish.
Last two miles of the progression were 6:25 & 5:48. Most of the progression was 7:30-6:50. Two miles steady easy cool down. Nice fall afternoon/evening at the park.

That is a monster ending to a progressive run- nice work! How'd it feel to finish that fast?

Thanks. It felt good. I haven't really been training and I'm not in the shape I was last fall when 5:48 was half marathon pace, but I'm currently enjoying these moderate runs with a fast finish when the mood strikes me.
I typically run most runs fairly slow. Between 10:00-8:15 (I don't dictate a specific pace), but since my mileage is down and I'm just running for fitness for a while I'm trying to keep the pace a bit firmer.
