Chesnut Hill College Hill Loop - 7.5 miles, no watch

Ran the first two with Megan before she turned around. Picked it up slightly from there, but kept it quite easy and enjoyable. Lots of leaves on the trail.

The chorizo and eggs I had for lunch, although very high in protein and quite delicious, was likely the culprit for my late run "I'm going to crap my split shorts" bad form/running style.

There's also a Harry Potter Festival going on in the neighborhood. Apparently it is quite famous and schools come to compete in whatever that Harry Potter game is that is played with brooms. Lots of younger kids in capes walking around.

For the second time I saw a Neapolitan Mastiff, which I didn't know until I finally asked the woman who owns it what it was. I wouldn't necessary buy the breed, but I thought it was an intriguing, quite handsome one.

There. I think I covered everything.

Too much here to comment on.

I know you like to read entries that have a little extra in addition to the mundane mileage check-in, but maybe paragraph 3 was too much :-)

Reminds me of my run this morning. The poor form part. They lock all the public restrooms around here for the winter, and it always takes one eye opening run for me to figure it out.

Pretty dog.

All the bathrooms are out of order on the trail! But after my first woods stop several weeks ago, it's not so bad (better than the alternative). Just a bit public even in the woods where I run.

It's strangely been happening a lot more. I think it used to happen maybe 2-3 times a year. I've had a few stretches in the last few months were it's hit a few days in a row. I contribute this to the fact that I've been eating dairy, meat, and eggs again. But admittedly spicy sausage was not a wise lunch choice (could be late coffee too).
