Treadmill - 6 miles in ~47 minutes. Hit the reset switch, which is easy to do. Waited until before dinner to run. Grumpy today but I got some writing done.

Pretty much the same as last week for Monday and Tuesday, tuneup workout on Wednesday, then two shorter easy days.

Goals for B2B: 1: say hi to Shalane Flanagan as I'm warming up from the high school; 2) beat as many of the Maine women as possible; 3) Run a PR.

Sensible list of goals. Stay non-grumpy this week and give it hell this weekend.

Better today. Just getting used to being an adult I think :-)

I checked Sheri Peirs's time from last year. I thought she ran slower. I was going to spot her in the elite area and tail her . . . but maybe not. I also rewatched the video I took with my iPad. It's a pretty fast course but lots and lots of room to make tangent areas (and costly ones).

I've never seen a racing goal to beat as many women as possible. Is this simple or aggravated assault? Your prison sentence will vary based on your answer. Can't believe Jake is on board with this.

Oh, nice TM run today!

I was going to respond "of course, have you seen the Maine men's times?!" But then I got to the next line. I'm guessing Jessman is going for the Maine course record. She missed last year by .7 seconds. I passed her in Philly RnR last year but she must have got hit by a car or something because she's pretty fast. Well, faster than me.

Reading my comment to jake doesn't make my post sound much better . . .

Well, it does make sense to tail them first, get an idea of their patterns, when they're most vulnerable, etc. Due diligence.
