Cheeky little 5 mile road race on the weekend - what time are you hoping for and are you planning anything speedy this week, you know, to sharpen up etc?

I hesitate to tell you that it was in the low 80's here yesterday. Shirtless weather. Spring is right around the corner right?

Ouch, 9 degrees....yeah, down here we cheer for winter to last as long as possible. Or maybe it's just me.

Bam: Not sure. Probably just strides. My ankle feels a bit tweaked right now, but nothing serious I don't think (nothing I can link it to so I am not sure the cause). Breaking 30 minutes would be marvelous, mostly because it is such a nice number. McMillan has me at 30:01, but I think that will be very tough. I will try to run 6:00-6:05. Not sure if this cold is going to turn into something either.
Bret: spring is close, and spring is pretty great in Indiana. Perfect weather last year. I think it isn't too many weeks away. We had some 70s last year in March. Not sure if it will be that warm. Right now I would like to be able to run in just a base layer and shorts. No such luck with this wind.
Joe: I hear you. I like it coldish for a change, but I prefer it to be 20+. 30-45 is perfect. I do love warm weather though. I got enough cold and snow when I lived in Maine.
