Lunch: Treamill - 9 miles in 61:40 w/ 4-mile tempo @ ~10.2 MPH

Started at 10, then dropped every mile until the 4th, cut it back to 10 but then bumped it back so I ran the last kilometer between 10.1-10.4. Not what I was planning and my quality has jumped a bit too much this week. I feel great, but that's not the point.

I usually run a 5-mile treadmill tempo about 2-3 weeks out from a key half and run about 6:00 pace and run under that for the actual race. Feels good to be where I am already.

One more week of basebuilding even though this week looked a lot more like a regular training week.

Is Broad Street your primary goal race for the spring? Or the half a week earlier?

From Jason D on Fri, Feb 13, 2015 at 13:37:46 from 68.80.27.222

Probably the half. I am not sure why Broad Street is highlighted. Alternatively I could skip the half and put in some other shorter races. But if I am doing Sugarloaf I won't be racing Broad Street. I'll do it as a ~95% MP tempo or pace Megan for an easy run.

There's a bit of money for Sugarloaf (not that that is the point), so I am tempted, but I will have to drive up to Maine, etc. and not sure what my job situation will be.

I'll find out in the next 3-4 days if I am in for Broad Street.
