Lunch: 18th street, etc. - 10.5 miles, averaged 7:21 w/ 4-mile baby a. builder @ 2:55 marathon pace (hair under 6:40): 6:40, 6:44, 6:38, 6:38. Felt kinda meh even though it was cool.

PM: North side - 6 miles, averaged 7:28. I did a quarter mile pick up in 1:14.34 (4:52 pace) according to the very honest measurement of the Garmin.

Cool and windy. Think I will hit the track on Wednesday or Thursday rather than my usual stretch of trail for some mile repeats.

Great workout Jason. Nice 4 mike stretch in there! I think I'll take your lead and throw some sort if track workout into my week. Sounds enticing.

That's a solid day Jason and you can just build from here.

Matt: I tend to run on a nice paved section of trail for everything from 400s to 2-mile repeats, but the track is fun once in a while. The idea is to try to hit times rather than fiddle with and rely on my watch.

I always forget, Riley, that it's pretty hard to go out and run 7-8 at "old" marathon pace when I first get back at it. 6:50s would have been more appropriate I think, but I was feeling to proud I guess!
