| All 7 miles at once with Dad. I didn't get great sleep so I was really tired, and I felt pretty sluggish for the first 3.5. After that Dad had me do a fast quarter to wake me up. I ran a 77, and it worked. We ended up with 54:04 for all 7. |

| 7.5 total miles with a 4 mile tempo run today. We drove up to the canyon and ran a 1.5 warmup. Then I ran 4 miles with Dad and JoJo. Our first mile was 6:01. I felt pretty good, but my calf was hurting a little for some reason. I think the second mile was 5:59. My calf was still hurting a bit, but otherwise I felt great. We slowed down in the next mile because JoJo was having a hard time. The last two miles were 12:05, so we ended up with 24:05. Same time as on Saturday. It was warmer though. I didn't really feel very tired when we finished. Surprisingly this felt easier than some 2x2 miles I've done earlier in the year at the same pace.

| 5 + 2 miles today. 5 by myself in the morning in 39:01. My calf was hurting for about the first mile, but it went away after that. I did 2 miles at night. The first mile was with William. We ran it in 7:47. The next was by myself. I ran it in 7:34. Total time of 15:21.

| Ran a fast 1000 on the track today with JoJo and Benjamin. The goal was to get 3:00 or under. If we failed the penalty would be another 600 at the same pace. It was fairly windy but I managed to run 3:00.2. We had great splits. With almost perfect 18s the whole time. With 200 to go we had 2:24, and my legs were really hurting. But I managed to run the last 200 in about 35 high. JoJo ran somewhere around 3:01 or 3:02. Afterwards I did 2 miles. I was feeling really tired and was pretty wiped out. Later in the evening I ran 2 more miles. I felt much better and ran 15:20. |

| Total of 8 miles with a 4 mile tempo run at 6:00. It was a bit colder than on Tuesday, and this time Chad ran with us. I didn't feel as great as last time. The first mile was 6:01. The second was a bit faster. We ran 5:55 I think. In the third mile, we kept a good pace, still faster than 6:00. I was feeling pretty tired by then. My legs still hurt a little from running the 1000 on Thursday. They didn't hurt too bad though, just a bit strained and tired. I pulled ahead a little in the last 800 and ended up with 23:47. JoJo, Dad, and Chad ran 23:51. This was our first time under 24:00 since we started doing these 4 mile tempo runs. Hopefully my legs will be fresh next week for the thanksgiving race and cross-country state.
