| 8 tonight, total time was kind of nonexistant cuz of some GI issues--caused some walk/running at the end of the run. did get my first half turnaround though, 4.25 in 27:45, 6:32 avg pace! felt good but i didnt think it was that good. not a bad workout..minus the problems at the end |

| a evening 9 after work today, felt great and really pushed the pace in the middle of the run. tried to keep comfortable at the pace i was at. overall, a nice run! splits: 1- 6:52.4 2- 6:10.5 3- 6:11.4 4- 6:23.5 5- 6:17.5 6- 6:07.5 (38:02, 6:20 avg pace)
7- 6:17.9 (44:20, 6:20 avg pace)
8- 7:09.8 9- 7:15.2 TOTAL-- 58:45, 6:32 avg pace middle 6 mile split from 2-7 was 37:28, 6:15 avg pace, a very decent average for that stretch and a nice tempo workout!

AM-- 3 shakeout miles when i woke up, 22:22, 7:27 pace, 11:21 first half, 11:01 second half, although easy paced i still neg split by 20 sec. pm run to come.
PM- 7 mile shakeout, very sore and my legs were dead, 51:16, 7:19.5 avg pace

| a change in weather today, quite cool, mid--40s by the end of the run, felt like a lil colder though because of the ne wind and not being used to 40s weather. got out early and did a sore 6 miles, threw in 2 on 2 off fartlek pickups for a total of 9 min (last on being 1 min). just a little speed in the middle of the run to keep things fresh. total time 43:33, 7:15 avg pace |

| early saturday long run today. ended up with 10.3, felt decent as i picked the pace up the 2nd half to try to finish strong. 55, windy with intermittent rain. splits: 1- 7:06.0 2- 6:50.9 3- 6:53.3 4- 6:56.9 5- 7:22.6 (very much uphill), 35:09, 7:02 pace 6- 6:19.5 (very much downhill) 7- 6:40.5 8- 6:50.2 9- 6:45.2 10- 7:15.1 (uphill) 1:09.00, 6:54.5 pace last .3-- 2:04, 6:53 pace
TOTAL-- 1:11:04, 6:54 avg pace overall a nice workout! negative split the last 5 miles by 1:20, ran 33:51 for the 2nd 5 miles, 6:46 pace. ended the week with my highest single week total ever at 54.5, gonna keep pushin
