great workout today, got out for some speed work and nailed it. 1.3 warmup, then 4 mile tempo in 23:14, 5:48.5 pace. splits were 5:50, 5:51, 5:55, 5:37. last mile was a little downhill but I also opened it up a lot. felt pretty good throughout and although the breathing was tough (cooler night and still adjusting to coming back to altitude after a week at home, nice effort especially given the high mileage I've been putting up (90.3 miles in the last 8 days!). 3.8 cool down
well earned rest day tomorrow.
