Merry 24th! Raced the hurricane 5k with Jess! It was hard, fell behind her at the last half mile but stuck in front of the hurricane girl. Felt like I had a strong finish, just need to have a strong finish for the whole last mile, not just 1/4 mile. Got like a 19:35. And s/o for Jess for finishing way strong!! My heel felt great but when I finished my cool down at home it started hurting again:/ so iced it twice for 15 min with 15 in between, plus a lot of rolling. BIG reminder for everyone- stretch good after practice or you'll end up like me fighting off injuries!! 60 min//7.5 mi

Did Wednesday afternoon run today cause I won't be able to do it at girls camp. 15 more min of icing heel afterwards. 20 min//2.5 mi

Nice race! You're in good shape. Now, take care of that foot. Remember to stretch your legs.
