AM - 11 track.  Warmed up and cooled down to GS.  Hit the track for a little workout.  Wasn't sure how great it would go, but it wasn't too shabby.  Went 1600, 800, 1600, 800, 800.  Paces were solid, but nothing great.  It was nice to run a little harder.  (Rocket 100.25)

afternoon - 4 2xDI.  Warmed up and cooled down with the boys.

AM - 2xAC.  Nice morning out after a rainstorm last night.  Still improving a bit, but some junk in the lungs and legs.  (Altra 257.5)

afternoon -  5 Parkway.  Practice was cancelled after weights because of lightning, so I just came home and ran in the rain.  Still a lot of lung blah.  (Kinvara 466.5)

AM - 6.25 AC/2450.  Still feeling the cold in the lungs.  It is getting better, but just hanging out.  So resting feels good and it is tough to get out in the morning and get going.  But legs are feeling a bit better.  (Hyper Speed 47.75)

afternoon - 3 2xHarts.  Not much this afternoon.  Still trying to get feeling better, so I just warmed and cooled with the JV boys and helped them with their workout.  (Stratus black 860.75)

AM - 12.5 River Trail.  Ran over to Steve's and then down through Washington down Dog Pound and Riverside, eventually onto the River Trail and finishing at Bloomington.  Tempoed for 10.  Had a pretty solid tempo (holding from 5:30-5:45) considering still recovering from sickness.  Pleased with it.  (Last Ohana 219.75)

AM - 18 SGM Course.  Got home late from Provo last night, slept for a few hours and then met up with the guys and ran up and back the course.  Although everyone was bagging on the idea of going up, it turned out well.  Every time I've run this, I've liked it.  Good solid up, then just a good solid flow back down until the last two.  Dustin B. and Logan left Steven and I like we were standing still, but I still hit 5:15's for the last two; so pleased about that.  (Oregon 127.5)

Good recovery week from being sick.  Kind of strange that there are only 2 weeks until the race.  But it is what it is.

Goals for next week:  Something about like this week, and now I don't need to get mad at myself for not hitting as much mileage with the taper coming up.
