The ankle really went bad last night.  One of my girls needed me in the night and I couldn't even stand up.  Obviously no run this morning, and I doubt anything tonight.  My Jeep is broken down and I had to drive my dad's old truck to school that has a beastly clutch.  Every second was extreme pain.  I'm a little worried because there is absolutely no swelling or bruising (break? - please no!).  Before it happened, I had been thinking, "What if I sprained my ankle?" and I convinced myself not to worry about it since you can't predict it or do anything about it.  I guess I'm glad it happened now and not in two weeks.

Dave, hope you ankle is just a slight twist/sprain. Take it easy the next couple of days to allow for a good recovery before SGM.

I know all to well the pains of twisted ankles. I would just be sure you let that thing get healed. Your training has been so good this year, I think you'll be fine even if you have to take a few days off, and then resume even with some easy running. Which ankle was it right or left? I have a boot for a right foot, if it is that bad.

Thanks Dustin, but it's on the left. Your workout last night looked good. Keep it up.

Ouch! I have done some major damage to my ankles over the years so I feel your pain. I hope it isn't too bad!

Dude hope your o.k. Just the other day I was thinking that now isn't the time to try anything crazy and get hurt. It's more time to just stay healthy and get rested up. Something like that you just can't plan for thought. Ice and Ib all day at school. Hope it gets feeling better fast.

Sorry about the ankle. Hopefully it gets better soon. Lots of ice and elevation.
