AM - 10 Starbucks. Ran over to practice, Starbucks route, and back home. Feeling pretty nice about things right now. Wore compression socks to try and work a couple knots out of the calves. (Altra 224)

I started wearing the compression socks a few months ago... haven't actually worn them for running, but I wear them pretty much every day, all day at work. I think they have made a big difference in how I recover from morning workouts and I feel better for my afternoon run.

Wow Jake that's a lot of compression socks? I really don't like them to run in but have loved them for post race or post big workout recovery. I've worn them in races and tempo workouts and my legs just feel heavy or something. But a lot of guys like them while running.

I just wear them multiple days in a row. Kinda gross I know, but Andrea knows I do it and she doesn't care, so whatever makes the legs feel good!

After a tough workout or whatever, I often just jump in the shower with them (I know, nice image!) and then keep them on all day also - I really think the recovery is the best part of them.

LOL....
My reply to Jake for wearing the socks multiple days in a row is. Do what works for ya... and I don't judge.
My reply to David for wearing his socks through the run and into the shower and then the rest of the day... "Oh my Stephen"!

Yeah sorry Dave but I think wearing the socks in the shower (and then apparently leaving wet footprints all over the house) is more embarrassing :-)

Holt - I hope the same isn't true for your running clothes!!

Andrea, that is taken care of with just a quick jump in the pool after each run - then you never have to change!
