AM - 6.75 2xAC w/ some laps.  Nice little run.  Blisters didn't bug.  I drained them last night and put mole skin on them, so no problem.  (Landreth 605.75)

evening - 10 Middleton.  Took the dog around the neighborhood; then ran out to Middleton and up to the top of the Heights.  Felt pretty good and racey.  It was probably a good thing I didn't have a watch on or I would have sprinted my way home.  (Stratus black 174.95)

Why go barefoot? That sounds painful. Best of luck with your race season. It will be a ton of fun.

Bill just asked me the same thing - barefooting allows the body to correct some of its own biomechanical/structural imperfections (or so I've been told); but mostly I just like to do it. It is a lot of fun and different than any other type of running.

From Nathan Bundy on Wed, Feb 04, 2009 at 12:45:20

So where do you do it mostly? Grass? Track?

From dave holt on Wed, Feb 04, 2009 at 12:49:44

Always on grass - at school I just run the baseball field. I really like the grass at the Washington ball fields (soccer field) and the Sienna Hills park has great grass - of course golf courses have great grass too, but don't like you on it.

Sorry to bug you about this again, but I was wondering about the run on Saturday. If you dont want to do it, we might go to Vegas instead and I can always get a good run in there.

From dave holt on Wed, Feb 04, 2009 at 17:47:45

Hey go to Vegas!

But I think I'll be up to it - but don't plan it on me (we can always go for a run - go enjoy your weekend!)

Let me know.

What's with you and this cutting edge training. What you won't do to try to get out of PTs.

I am definitely up for a long run this weekend... The calf is feeling much better! Have you talked to Clyde? I bet he is up for it!

From superfly on Thu, Feb 05, 2009 at 10:52:11

I am! Did you have something in mind because if you didn't I do.

From Nathan Bundy on Thu, Feb 05, 2009 at 11:49:09

No course in mind... But I am up for anything! What were you thinking?
