Met James this morning to run.  Ran first 2 miles easy and then started a tempo run.  First mile was 6:31 and felt decent.  About another 0.5 mile later started having pain just below my left calf, but above my achilles.  Felt tight, almost like it wanted to tear.  No really crampy or anything.  Couldn't get it to loosen up, so had to bag the run and walk back to the car.

Last few weeks have been frustating from a running standpoint.  I have had issues with my achilles, hamstring and now this.  Not quite sure where to go from here.  I should be ramping up and getting ready for St. George, but I have been doing the opposite.  I took last week off from running and it looks like I may need some more time off.  Not too encouraging heading to St.  George.  If anyone has advice, that would be great.

Got home and rode an hour on the bike.
