10 mile run. 2:40

My 10 mile runs are quite leisurely. I run with Sage through some nice trails. I saw a dozen or so runners – more than usual since it was a little warmer this morning.

I start at my house in Highland and after about 2 miles I get to the running trail which takes me along American Fork Creek through Adventure and Learning Park, past the Alpine Country Club and Cedar Hills golf course. At the mouth of American Fork Canyon I turn south to the summit of Cedar Hills, then a long descent through "downtown" Cedar Hills, to Lone Peak High School, through Adventure and Learning Park again and back home.

When I get more comfortable with this run, I'll try running up the canyon to the Timpanogos cave visitor center and back, which will add 4 miles to the run. I'll start that in June or July, to get ready for the Provo River 1/2.
