A bit of swimming today. I really hate swimming.

 40 minutes on the elliptical.

Swimming would be something different to try. I'm getting inspired by all the swimmers in the Olympics, but not enough to start doing it yet!

Yeah, this is my second strep infection this year. The last one I got was at that wedding reception for Mike's relative and I ate all that ice cream since it's the only thing that sounded good.

Swimming might be better if I use goggles. There was so much chlorine in the pool, my eyes were sore for two days.

It might be an old wives' tale but they say once you get strep, you are more susceptible to repeat infections. So you might want to get a throat culture early next time you get a sore throat.

I also admire the Olympic athletes for putting so much effort into become the best they can possible be.
