Welcome to the blog! Are you prediabetic?

From Christina on Mon, May 05, 2008 at 14:36:03

So, the protein cookies didn't turn out too good, eh? I guess the only good cookies are the real thing, huh! Did you eat them during Magic?

Thanks for the welcome, Michelle. I have type II Diabetes. My sugar level overall has been pretty good lately, just a little high the last few days.

Yeah, my usual philosophy is either eat the good food or don't i.e. don't try to eat a "diet" substitute. But occasionally it's fun to experiment. Now my "experiment" is done.

I spilled most of the cookies on my way to give them to Ruth's family -- so the dogs got most of them. I had about 4. I brought a big bowl of veggies to Magic "Game Night" but I ate a lot of meatloaf, so that's probably why the glucose and weight were up this morning.
