You are Timp master. Man are you stiff from the race. Yesterday it hit me hard. Today, not as much. We've got to hit the mileage hard next week to get ready for Provo.
What's up with Stride Racing not posting the chip times? I've emailed them and the Bob Wood. That is so irritating. No chubby melt for them.
I was pretty stiff. Can you believe I'm going to hike Timp at least one more time? Probably Wednesday. I love it for burning fat. And it doesn't kill my joints.
Then I'm going to run my local 5k on Saturday plus 6-9 more miles (I hope) and 2 or 3 5k runs before the Provo 1/2. Then I'm going to step back and reevaluate what my prep plan will be for a marathon next year.
Call me next time you hike Timp. I want to do it once this year.
Yeah, I saw that listing of times but that is the gun time listed there. I don't know where you started but Ben was mentioning that it took him 5 minutes to get to the starting gate. So that time is way skewed. Last year they posted both times. Maybe they'll fix it this year if enough people complain.
Let's try running sidewards on the Tuesday run to see if it helps cut down on the wind resistance. Perhaps it will improve our times.
You've got Jensen in your sites for next year. Unless he actually does run those 6 min miles. Then we are all in trouble.
Well, darn. My real time is pretty near gun time though. Yeah, I'm gonna beat Jensen next year unless he can do 6 minute miles like he used to do.
