I just signed up for the 10k. I've never run one before so it will be nice to have a race where I don't have this incredibly hard time to try and beat. I'm shooting for sub 1:08 :)

11 minute miles, eh? With a 32 minute 5k on a circular route, I would think 1:08 10k on a downhill route should be within your reach. I am rooting for you. It's going to be a fun one regardless.

I've never held that pace for 6.2 miles but who knows? Maybe it will be my day.

According to Sashas calculator I should be able to finish just under 1:07. That would be nice. But I am afraid to step on the scale......I'm thinking I should start forking out the bucks and do weight watchers and have someone to be accountable to.
