5.6 45:05.0 151 - Easy, Logan River Trail (It's quite dark between 6 and 7 a.m.).  It snowed very lightly for a minute or two in the second to last mile, but for the most part it was nice and dry.

38°F and dry, mild wind (though backward this week - it's flowing up the canyon) = two tech shirts (one long sleeve, one short), tights (long johns), running shorts, under armour beanie, gloves, and dri-fit socks.  Shoes as well.

6.5 53:49.8 149 Easy at the track, where most of the time was spent trying not to slip.

1.875 16:13.1 142 - to track - removed sweatshirt, way too hot (sweaty) for less than 2 slow miles

0.25 1:58.1 150

1.0 8:06.0 151

1.0 8:10.9 151

0.25 2:00.5 152

0.25 2:00.9 152 - tied sleeves of sweatshirt in a knot and hung it around my neck to keep my chest warm

1.875 15:20.2 153

30°F - weather.com said it would feel like 25°F, so a added I sweatshirt (a thick one) to yesterdays attire, but it definitely was too much.  I just needed something to keep the moving air off of my chest.  Since I started sweating before I removed it, I probably cooled off too much after...  I'll figure this out!

Also - the pain in my right knee might be back.  I'll drink extra water and give it another day and see how that goes before taking more glucosamine.

0.9 7:34.7 147 - head wind (1/4 mile) 'til I turned up the hill

1.0 8:03.4 139 - tail wind, a little up, flat, some down

0.2 1:42.8 131 - down.

1.0 8:13.8 143 - gentle down

25°F - Same as yesterday.  The sweatshirt was really nice running into the canyon wind, but maybe a little too much otherwise.  But I'm not sure I want to allow my chest to get any cooler.  I've gotten pleurisy the two years that I've run outside in the mornings in November...

26°F - Same as yesterday except no sweatshirt.  I'm thinking it was about right, but I'm going to need something to break the wind, besides a couple of tech shirts...

12.1 1:47:32 157 LRT to Bridger Lookoff.  The weather was AWESOME!

1.0 8:48.5 147 - pretty fast start, but it was 10:00am

1.0 8:55.2 157 - HR is unusually high, I must be sicker than I thought - trail begins after this mile

0.8 7:34.9 156

1.25 10:57.5 160 - I feel like my pace is good, but  HR is still 7-8 beats high

0.4 3:03.1 166

0.8 8:43.1 163 - never  been up this one (Spring Hollow Junction 0.8 the sign said)

0.8 11:33.6 166 - some steep, muddy spots and SNOW! I walked some to get my HR below 160 for a minute...Bridger Lookoff - turnaround (59:36)

0.8 6:56.2 147

0.8 6:28.3 152

0.4 3:15.5 163

1.25 9:39.5 157

0.8 5:59.9 157

1.0 7:46.2 161

1.0 7:50.6 161 - I considered (in the last two miles) running 1.1 miles past my house, or even just 0.5 miles so I could get 13-14 miles, but I realized I was out of gas and my heart was done...
