This morning I did not feel like doing anything. But i made myself get up and run. it was fine, i felt my stress fracter spot a little this morning but it's fine.

Then i went and swam 1 min fast 1 rest 2 fast 1 rest 3 fast 1 rest and back down. I was supposed to go up to 4 min, but i didn't feel up to it. So i did less but made sure i pushed myself even harder on these. i was glad when it was all over.

the kids camp was good. i ran around a little bit there, about .5.

Don't stress about anything (pains, desire...) you'll be fine. The pain is just residual (keep the workouts like your doing) and the desire is just frustration because you aren't out there with your team yet. It will all come around.

As far as your leg hurting check out this blog discussion:

http://fastrunningblog.com/forum/index.php/topic,1607.0.html

Basically the last post says what I was telling you about with my stress fracture and what you're describing with your pain. The "phantom" pain is somewhat there to protect you from overdoing it early in your comeback; but is also there because of our fears that the leg isn't fully healed and until you can convince yourself that it is (and it really should be totally healed up with the time off you gave it) and you get some more confidence with it, you'll have that little pain and fear in your head.

thanks for that.

i'm mostly writing it down to show the improvement.
