Short-Term Running Goals: -Find some good local races to run that will motivate me to stay in shape. Long-Term Running Goals: -Run a few fast marathons. Grandma's, St. George, and Boston are on my target list.
-Stay fit for a very long time. I believe what goes into making a competitive runner at age 60 is much different than age 20, just like what goes into making a good marathoner differs from a good sprinter. I hope that by taking care of my body, I can be very fast for my age as I get older.
Personal: I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I live in the Twin Cities with my family and am an Epidemiology PhD Student. Running is the only hobby I have time for :) |

| | 6:51 pace, Como classic. There was weird fog this morning that looked like smoke.

| | Just under 7 minute pace, east river flats. Super foggy morning. Felt tired. Knee hurt a bit.

| | 6:58 pace, Como ave to Como lake. I am very glad I ran outside. It was almost 30 degrees but the wind was nearly 20 mph, which made things interesting in light of the newly fallen snow. Still, it was more enjoyable than I thought it would be.

| | 6:55 pace, ran from our Air BnB towards Afton and the state park. A little icy at first. It was beautiful running through the forest and along the river as the sun rose. Over less than a mile, elevation rose about 275 feet. That is one of the biggest rises I've done in Minnesota. Happy thanksgiving.

| | 6:43 pace, north on St Croix trail, across the bridge, and into Wisconsin! I was able to sneak in one more state in my list of places run in in 2025. The list now included Oregon, California, British Columbia, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Lousiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, DC, and Virginia. I think that is all. And I think Wisconsin has been on the list in at least 4 of the 5 years I have lived in Minnesota.

| | Only 6:20 pace today. The snow began to fall this morning. I'm glad I was able to get this in before it got too bad. I felt faster than that. West river road.
