Short-Term Running Goals: -Find some good local races to run that will motivate me to stay in shape. Long-Term Running Goals: -Run a few fast marathons. Grandma's, St. George, and Boston are on my target list.
-Stay fit for a very long time. I believe what goes into making a competitive runner at age 60 is much different than age 20, just like what goes into making a good marathoner differs from a good sprinter. I hope that by taking care of my body, I can be very fast for my age as I get older.
Personal: I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I live in the Twin Cities with my family and am an Epidemiology PhD Student. Running is the only hobby I have time for :) |

| | 5 by 800 at Kiwanis. One uphill (2:22, if it even matters), one partly downhill (2:16), one uphill (2:26), bathroom break (yeah, didn't feel so good), then one downhill (2:13) and downhill (2:15). The last two made me feel much better about what had been a tough workout thus far because they were downhill and I had missed a rep to use the bathroom. Oh well.

| | 10 miles. Even though I didn't sleep amazing last night, I felt more loose and energized than I have since conference. Yay!

| | 8 miles. More humid than I thought. Oklahoma is beautiful in its own way. Rainy run.

| | AM: 3 miles.
PM: 6.5 miles on the course. It was pretty humid, but the fact that it wasn't hot tempered it. It will be a very interesting course. Pretty hilly. Hopefully that favors me and us.
