Calf muscle feels quite a bit better today.  I was pretty worried yesterday, but spent most of the day icing and just resting.  I put on quite a bit of wintercrest last night and I can at least walk around a little better today.  However, I still think it will be a while before I resume any running.

Hi Dustin. Keep the compression wrap on it! Take some ibprofen. Ice it for another day when you can.

Hope your calf feels better quick. You'll have to let that basketball stuff go...

From Dustin on Thu, Mar 27, 2008 at 10:27:15

I know about the basketball stuff that is what my dad said. I guess I really should back off when I'm getting ready for a marathon. It is just too bad I don't enjoy running as much as I enjoy basketball.

Why is a short guy like you going for a rebound anyway! your a pure shooter type of guy!

Great to hear that your leg is feeling better. You better stay off it still. Your truck passed inspection! have a great day! Love you!

Bill actually, I was going up for a lay-up, which is very rare. Usually, I play no defense and just hang out on the three point line.

I hope to be back to running by the first of the week. I need to keep training and get ready for Ogden. I really need to get in some longer runs. I feel like I've been able to do quite a few quality workouts, just need to work more on the endurance right now.

I love you to Dustin! take care of that leg!

Dustin I suspect you have either a grade one or grade two strain! if it is a grade one! 2 weeks before it completly heals. grade two. 4 to 6 weeks! hopefully you will be able to run with compression wrap with in a week.

Wintercrest! now were talkin! Steve says it will heal anything. Maybe, I should try it on the tumor. Bull, very nice of you to share the love!

From Dustin on Fri, Mar 28, 2008 at 08:41:25

Yes, I been wearing the Wintercrest everywhere. I had some on in school yesterday and all the kids were like, man what is that smell and I just played dumb like what are you guys talking about, I don't smell a thing. It was pretty funny.
