Frustrating hip pain has returned! Just when I start increasing my miles and feeling like I'm ready to really train, I get these little annoying aches and pains. I guess I shouldn't complain too much many people have it much worse than me in life. In fact stopping and thinking about it I have a great life and it will be even better next week when school is out. The three best things about teaching June, July, and August. Even though it seems our district here keeps starting school earlier and earlier each year.

Anyway, enough rambling ran with Steve, Bill, and Mike tonight. I got done with Driver's Ed early so I did 4 miles around the running store and Sunset Corner, then Steve, Bill, Mike and I took off on the standard loop. Mike ran back to his house, so we extended the loop just a bit to drop him off, it was good seeing him out there again. We then headed down to the golf course. I really wanted to turn back at Sunset, but was encouraged to continue on. I had to stop for a drink and some stretching down at the golf course and again at one of the parks along the bike path. It is really starting to warm up and still very windy. The run wasn't the best, but glad I got in the miles. average pace for the first 4 miles was 7:41, then average for the last 10 miles was 8:12

Dustin, thanks for the run tonight. It was really cool to run with you guys again. Darn hip pain!! Sorry to hear that! Anyway, good job on your miles today. Looking forward to running with you again.

Good job Dustin going the extra miles! The pace is not important. just the time on the road. I am ready to go swimming! yea!

Wow I'm impressed! I really need to figure this blog thing out...I ran 6 miles today-that is the longest since like 3 weeks ago. I'm trying to find some trails for us when you guys come out.

yes that would be fun to have Jodee join in on our fun! She probably is a lot better than me by far. The run was fun today I really did not know where I was planning to go so I just went all over the town.
