Basketball this morning. Body still feeling sore and tired from Friday and Saturday for some reason.

Good workout tonight. I was just going to do an easy 2 miles up and 2 miles back down the La Verkin Twist. But then decided to push it a little and do 3 miles up to the Gun Club and 3 miles back down the Twist. Basically had four goals

1. Don't get hit by a car- I need to get a light or reflective vest, especially for this stretch of road.

2. Don't lose my dinner (I ate a chicken fajita, waited 15 minutes then started my workout) I didn't have time to sit around, still on the tight schedule with teaching the Dr. Ed class.

2. Run the first three uphill under 24:00 anything in the 7 minute average range would be good

3. On the way back try as hard as I can to run under 18:00

Anyway, I'm glad to say I accomplished all 4 goals. Especially glad number one worked out.

1-7:26 Not to hilly running up 300 West

2-7:55 Had to step off the road a few times, dodging cars.

3-8:02 Good effort up the steepest part of the run.

23:23

Turn around reset watch

1-5:42 Nice downhill, feeling pretty good

2-5:49 Starting to worry a little about my dinner right now

3-5:45 This mile was pretty flat so I was happy with the time, but still very concerned about losing my dinner.

17:17- 5:45 average

Got home and talked Sunny in doing a few easy cool down miles. We were going to only do 2, but we ran into some ladies from our ward so we extended our run with them and ended up running 3.

Hang in there Dustin and work through the soreness. You'll have to get signed up for Ogden. We are going up on the Thursday before so if you need me to I could grab you number and stuff.
