Afternoon showers cooled things off a bit for an after work run on the trails. Walked about 3/4 mi to warm up instead of the usual 1/4 mi - seemed to help the early ankle soreness I've been having on most runs.

I usually do a one mile walk/jog warm-up with the jogging at around 10 minute pace. Then a little stretching, mobility drills (including ankle rotations) and jumping jacks.
My runs feel a lot easier when I take the time to warm-up right.
