| Ran the Firecracker Fast 5K at 20:40, which placed me 99th out of 1,533 participants. The 55-59 mens age group was really strong, and I haven't been training for a short fast race. But I signed up on Friday night since I can run a couple of long runs during the week this week.
Ran a 2.5 mile warm up. Ran from War Memorial Field back to Go Running after the race, taking a detour to run around the neighborhood west of Kavanaugh. The ran to my car.

| Ran 12.3 miles with Nick on the Arkansas River Trail on a hot morning. The trail from the Two Rivers Bridge to Two Rivers Park was blocked by trees that blew onto the trail on Thursday night. So we turned around and ran ouit and back to the Emerald Park trail entrance.
